When winter comes, it’s unavoidable to always feel a sense of coldness in the air, so there is nothing I love more than lighting some scented candles in my house to warm up the atmosphere.

And this is so true for me.

A small tip from me is you should choose scene candles that come with the smell that bring up good memories from you.

If you light a scented candle with a particular fragrance that associate with a happy memory or a special place you visited in the past, the scent can evoke a strong sense of nostalgia and take you back to that moment in time.

In my case, my mom loves to make cinnamon rolls, and she used to make them a lot, especially during the cold seasons. I always remember our family finishing our meals at night with hot, soft cinnamon rolls, and we would enjoy them while chatting and watching our favorite shows on TV.

So, whenever I catch the scent of cinnamon, especially during the winter, it always reminds me of my childhood when I could be carefree and enjoy loving time with my family.

I’ve been practicing journaling for a while now, and the more I do it, the more I realize how beneficial it is to my mental health.
