If you ask me what is the most important thing in manifestation, I would say that it’s getting into the flow state of mind.
Yes, you can use robotic affirmations to manifest what you want. However, when you are in the flow, your affirmations will be 10 times more effective.
Being in the flow means you are not influenced by negative beliefs or limits that hold you back, so your manifestations can in a much faster way.
To me, the most crucial aspect when you are in the flow state of mind is that ” You are happy!” Yes, we manifest things so that we can experience the feeling of having them, and eventually is being happy. That’s how we will always circle back to the flow state of mind.
So don’t wait for your manifestation to appear in the physical world; instead, be happy right now, or should I say, get into the flow state of mind right now.
This post will be all about how to get into the flow state of mind! And there are many, many ways for you to do that! So, let’s get started.
How to get into the flow state of mind
What is the flow state of mind?
You may have heard about it, and I’m sure each one of us have once experiencing that flow state of mind. Simply speaking, a flow state of mind is like a higher state, when everything we do just seem to be extra easier.
You may have experienced a flow state of mind when you are so focused in doing something you love, that it takes all of your attention and you don’t notice how time pass so quickly.
Under scientific perspectice, by psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi, this state is often characterized by a sense of complete engagement, optimal performance, and a feeling of being “in the zone.”
From the perspective of the Law of Attraction, this is when your manifestation arrives to you in the swiftest and most effortless manner.
Why do we have to get into the flow state of mind?
Like attracts like:
When you are in a flow state, your thoughts, feelings, and actions are aligned and focused on a particular activity. This alignment creates a strong positive energy that resonates with the intentions you’re setting through the Law of Attraction.
And hence in Law of Attraction, we all know the main concept is “like attracts like”.
In a flow state of mind, high frequency will attract more of the same good things into our lives.
If you are in flow state of mind of becoming wealthy, financial abundance , it means you are in a high frequency when it comes to money, and financial aspects, therefore you will attract more people and events that helped you prosper more on your finanncial situation.
During a flow state, your intentions are clear. Intentions will give you more clarity and know which is the right way to take towards your desires.
As mentioned earlier, time often feels distorted during a flow state. This can lead to a sense of detachment from the constraints of time, which can be beneficial when practicing the Law of Attraction.
Letting go of the concept of time can help you focus on the present moment and allow your desires to manifest in their own time frame.
Joy and Positivity
Flow states are typically accompanied by feelings of joy, satisfaction, and positivity.
These emotions align well with the Law of Attraction’s principle of focusing on positive thoughts and emotions to attract positive outcomes.

Pre-sleep and morning rituals to enhance relaxation
The optimal time to manifest our desires quickly is during the drowsy state – when we’re half-asleep and can directly access our subconscious mind, turning our dreams into reality. This technique is commonly known as SATS (State Akin to Sleep).
You can amplify the power of SATS by thoroughly relaxing yourself before entering sleep or this drowsy state. This is when you make your drowsy state be linked with positive feelings, complete relaxation, and images of you achieving your desires.
From this flow state of mind, as you fall asleep, you will seamlessly transition into the subconscious world with all the good feelings and high frequency you’ve created. Doing this before bedtime at night is considered the most effective, as your subconscious mind will have 7-8 hours of sleep to actively work on your manifestations.
To make yourself completely relaxed or getting into high vibes states before bed, you can listen to gentle, calming music before going to sleep. You can also watching a motivating short clip, listening to affirmations.
Creating a relaxed bedroom environment also helps by incorporating calming scenes during your sleep (lavender, lemon, tea tree..), taking a soothing bath before bed or any activity that make you feel good and extra relaxed.
Did you know that, on average, us humans have about 50,000 to 70,000 thoughts per day? Many thoughts are repetitive, automatic, and some related to everyday tasks and activities.
And most of us, human, we often tend to lean towards the negative side of things. It’s like our brains have a bias for thinking about the not-so-great stuff. So, if you’re not a very positive person, you might find yourself in a bit of a sea of less-than-awesome thoughts, and that can really put a damper on the manifestation of your dreams.
According to Abraham Hicks, meditation is considered the best way in the list of how to get into the flow state of mind.
Meditation is a great way of quieting down that stream of thoughts and distractions. This mental stillness is akin to the diminished self-consciousness experienced during flow, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the present moment.
Meditation also gives you the ability to get to know yourself better. You’ll start recognizing those patterns of thinking, your emotions, and how you react to stuff.
And when you’re in that state of flow, you get even more tuned in to your strengths and weaknesses, which totally amps up your performance.
Meditation also helps keep your emotions in check. It’s like having a steady hand on the emotional steering wheel. This emotional stability is conducive to the flow state, where emotional fluctuations are minimized, leading to enhanced performance.
Meditation is not hard to practice, like at all. Here’s a simple step-by-step meditation practice that was suggested by Abraham Hicks to help clear your mind and create space for your manifestations:
Find a comfy spot where you won’t be interrupted.
Pay attention to your breath – just follow it as it goes in and out.
As thoughts arise (and they will), acknowledge them without judgment, and gently redirect your focus back to your breath. This practice helps train your mind to stay present.
Patience is key! It’s normal for your mind to wander. The key is to gently guide your attention back to your chosen focus point.
Aim to practice meditation daily, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Consistency is more important than the duration in the beginning.
So, there you have it – a way to tame that thought tornado and help yourself get into that awesome flow state.
Quality time with loved ones and beloved pets
Love is considered one of the highest frequencies on the emotional scale, and it has several positive effects on your mental and emotional state.
Being in the company of loved ones, whether they’re family members, friends, or pets, often brings about feelings of joy, happiness, and contentment.
These emotions have a natural tendency to draw you into the flow state of mind. You can openly share your desires with those you trust the most, engaging in discussions that fuel your inspiration.
If you’re a pet enthusiast, envisioning your manifestations while spending time with your furry friend can be a heartwarming and effective way to tap into the flow state.
Choose a quiet and comfortable space where you won’t be interrupted. This can be a chair, a cushion, or even lying down – whatever helps you relax.
Close your eyes to eliminate visual distractions and turn your focus inward.
Take a few deep breaths to relax your body and calm your mind. Let go of any tension or stress.
You can use visualization for anything. It could be a specific activity, goal, or project where you want to experience the flow state. Imagine yourself engaged in this task, feeling completely absorbed and focused.
As you visualize, engage all your senses. Imagine the sights, sounds, smells, textures, and even tastes associated with the activity. Make it as vivid and detailed as possible.
Feel the positive emotions associated with being in the flow state – joy, enthusiasm, confidence, and a sense of accomplishment. Let these emotions wash over you.
Focus on the present moment in your visualization. Feel as though you are completely immersed in the task, with no distractions or worries.
Visualize successful outcomes. See yourself achieving your goals, completing the task effortlessly, and feeling satisfied with your performance.
After your visualization, let go of any attachment to the outcome. Trust that the flow state will come naturally when you engage with the task.
Visualization primes your mind to experience the flow state by creating a mental rehearsal of being fully engaged and focused. By regularly practicing this technique, you condition your mind to enter the flow state more effortlessly when faced with real tasks and activities.
By redirecting your attention away from worries and problems, you create mental space to center yourself in the present moment. This is actually my favourite in the list of how to get into the flow state of mind.
Flow state is associated with a high-frequency positive emotional state. Gratitude cultivates positivity, which aligns with the emotional frequencies that facilitate flow. This alignment encourages a smoother transition into the flow state.
To incorporate gratitude into your routine and enhance your flow state:
Set aside a few minutes each day to list things you’re grateful for.
Express gratitude for both big and small things in your life.
When faced with challenges, seek out aspects to be thankful for within those situations.
Combine gratitude practice with activities that engage your full attention, like writing, crafting, or playing a musical instrument.
As you feel gratitude, take a moment to soak in the positive emotions it generates.
Mindfulness trains your mind to let go of distractions and refocus on the present moment. Mindfulness enhances your ability to tune into your inner experiences. This heightened intuition aligns with the flow state’s intuitive decision-making and creative problem-solving.
To integrate mindfulness and enter the flow state:
Set aside time each day for mindfulness meditation. Start with a few minutes and gradually increase the duration.
Engage in everyday tasks mindfully. Pay full attention to your actions, sensations, and surroundings, even during routine activities like walking or eating.
Let’s take eating as an example:
Instead of merely consuming your meal while scrolling through your phone, pause and express gratitude for your food. Consider its origins, how it was prepared, and the effort that went into bringing it to your table.
When you take a bite, truly savor the flavors and textures.
Chew your food slowly, allowing yourself to experience how the taste unfolds. Be attuned to the sensations in your mouth as you eat.
When eating, dedicate your attention solely to the act itself. Steer clear of distractions like reading, watching TV, or working. This practice ensures that you’re fully engaged in the experience of eating.
I hope I gave you a few ideas of how to get into the flow state of mind. Remember, the journey to the flow state is about finding what works best for you and incorporating these practices into your daily life. Embrace the moments of complete immersion, where time seems to stand still, and you’re effortlessly aligned with your tasks. As you continue to explore and apply these approaches, may you find yourself flowing effortlessly through the currents of joy and accomplishment. When you are happy and content, that’s when you know you are in the flow!
Until the next time, happy manifesting!
